About girl.T:
A couple months ago I wanted to learn to draw so I started working on a web comic. Since then, though, the plan has changed a bit. Now, girl.T is becoming a story that can be experienced as either a web comic or a visual novel. It is still a work in progress and the visual novel is not ready to be experienced. but I am updating it simultaneously with my web comic.
A quick note about the name: The ‘T’ in girl.T is an imaginary file type named after myself. Many of my friends call me T which is short for Theresa. The title ‘girl’ is because this is the story about how meeting a girl can change your life.
About Me:
My name is Theresa E. Garcia. I am a Hispanic pansexual neo-pagan trans woman. I’m also a video game nerd, an anime fanatic, a furry and a sociologist. Most importantly I am a writer.

Hi Theresa!
We are making the first all LGBTQIA content RPG. We are in conversation with members of our local LGBTQIA community and reaching out all over the web as well for feedback. I’d love to know what you want to see in a transgendered character. Our story’s plot is driven by the love story of two gay men in 3rd century china, however a duplicitous deity drives the main story arch and is transgendered. We started making the character solely a hero and received feedback it would be more interesting if the character were more conflicted. We also received feedback that the concept art shouldn’t represent that the character is transgendered too obviously. What do you think? It would be lovely to hear from you! 🙂 And good luck with your visual novel!
Yeah, not trying to make the character look obviously trans is a good start, since it’s impossible to try to make a character look trans without stereotyping what trans people look like.
Also, transgendered isn’t a word. Transgender as a word is an adjective. So, you would just say the deity is transgender. That’s not particularly offensive, it’s just wrong.
A transgender character should really be like any other character. Being transgender shouldn’t be their only defining element. You might consider reading through my blog http://transgamersociologist.wordpress.com/
I have analysis of other transgender characters in gaming and much of my own personal experiences. They might help you avoid some pitfalls.
